Memorandum from L.A. County DHS to the Board of Supervisors providing a status update on the transition to the new LAC+USC Medical Center. This report is the full monthly operational report of Emergency Department (ED) Indicators and Census Trending to include the month of August 2011. The Average Daily Census (ADC) for the month of August was 579 out of 671 licensed beds, an estimated 84% utilization rate (86% occupancy). The Emergency Department Dangerously Overcrowding Level Comparison was 17.7% for this period, reflecting a 79% decrease from August 2010.
