Memorandum regarding 2008 report from the Citizens' Economy and Efficiency Commission on the implementation of the County's new governance structure. Included is the final version of the assessment entitled "County of Los Angeles Governance Structure Assessment and Recommendations: Strategy for Moving Forward" that noted distinct improvements in collaboration, cross departmental and cluster coordination, and communication. It also identified continuing challenges such as clarification and consistency regarding roles and responsibilities. The new CEO Strategic plan which updates the 2002 plan is also included.
