Outreach, Enrollment, Retention and Utilization
LA Health Action works with agencies throughout the county to identify and eliminate barriers to enrollment and retention in public health insurance programs, as well as educate individuals and families on the importance and availability of health coverage to reduce the stigma and fear associated with using these programs. Best practices for outreach, enrollment, retention and utilization are being documented, such as the effectiveness of pursuing "high yield" opportunities and identifying policy trends to inform systems-level advocacy.
