Alternative Governance Models

Based on unique needs and circumstances, local governments throughout the country employ a range of models to administer their hospital and public health systems. Systems such as a public benefits corporation and a health authority have been studied and proposed in L.A. County, with recommendations from various public and private entities in support and opposition of implementing alternative management.
